“Dirty Diana”发行于1988年7月。它在英国夺得了第4名，并在前75名内呆了8周。这是《Bad》专辑内第4只在英国榜上打入前五名的单曲。此时，“Bad”巡演抵达英国站，而该专辑在英国的销售数字已十分惊人，已经接近《Thriller》专辑在英国的总销量。在单曲碟内仅有一点新内容加入（器乐版），以及专辑本身已取得如此大的销量的情况下，该单曲的表现明显好过预期。
